During Pride month, I pitched this story about non-binary and trans identities becoming more visible in popular culture.
I reached out to influential non-binary activist and author, Jacob Tobia, to discuss the politics of gender identification. At the time of this interview, the Vatican had just issued a directive stating gender fluidity in "nothing more that a confused concept of freedom."

As alleged cult leader Keith Raniere's trial began, I dove into the details of why alleged cults like NXIVM are so hard to prosecute.
I examined the history of litigation against alleged cults, from Patti Hearst and the SLA to allegations of forced labour in the Church of Scientology.

Olympic gold medalist runner Caster Semenya lost a landmark legal battle that would force her to artificially lower her testosterone levels in order to continue competing.
For this segment, I examined the long history of policing women's bodies in sports. I was able to reach Semenya's lawyer for this interview.
