BROADCAST

As a broadcast television Producer and Senior Writer I researched and wrote monologues and scripts, booked high profile guests, produced segments and took shows to air in the control room. Here are some examples of that work.

HOW ‘STALKERWARE’ HELPS ABUSERS TRACK VICTIMS

THE WEEKLY WITH WENDY MESLEY

7 Apr 2019

In spring of 2019, Electronic Frontier Foundation's Director of Cybersecurity, Eva Galperin, tweeted an offer to help victims of 'stalkerware'.

For this segment I booked Galperin for the show and wrote the monologue that examined the prevalence of the apps and how they are used in intimate partner violence.

To further my research, I interviewed coordinators at Toronot-based shelters for women and children.

They described the challenges many of their residents faced in being tracked by violent partners.

A story based on my reporting also ran on The National.

The Weekly finds hundreds of incident reports showing the trouble pilots are having with automation on their planes.
